[The course is now booked out -- we'll announce another one soon :)]
Due to continuing demand from the permablitz community, we're running our fifth two-day introduction to permaculture course on the weekend of June 14-15. The venue is the Port Phillip Eco Centre in the St Kilda Botancial Gardens and the course will be tailored to people interested in suburban permaculture. Topics covered will include an introduction to Permaculture Ethics and Design Principles, urban animals, water catchment and use, companion planting, caring for soil and heaps more. Hands-on activities include marking out contours and making a good compost pile. You'll receive a handout covering all the topics on the course and a certificate of completion. The cost for the two days is $150 ($105 unwaged). Please bring a bite to share for lunch, we'll be providing for morning and afternoon teas. Full address: Port Philip Eco Centre St Kilda Botanical Gardens, Cnr Herbert and Blessington Streets St Kilda VIC |
