We would like to thank everyone who came to the Permablitz at our place in Eltham on Sunday (see photos here! ). An enthusiastic effort from all has dramatically changed our bare backyard. It looks fantastic and is a testament to the power of co-operation action and goodwill. It is heartening to meet and work with the forward thinking people who are getting behind permaculture, a positive philosophy for the planet in so many ways. We would love to have been everywhere to get involved in the multitude of activities on Sunday but the day went so quick. However there's always the next permablitz in Brunswick to attend.
A special thanks to Erin who bore the brunt of our questions, organised us for the day and who, along with Mike, put together the design for the backyard. Thanks to Mike too, sorry you couldn't attend. And of course a big thanks to the great Permablitz crew! Cheers Rachel and Brent PS. We have someone's khaki green hat here.
