Costa Georgiadis urges a local focus in Blitzin’ the Border permablitz plan

Costa Georgiadis recognised the potential in Wodonga’s Sustainable Activity Centre when he co-hosted Saturday’s information session for Blitzin’ the Border, an Albury-Wodonga permablitz project.
More than 70 people from Albury, Wodonga, Kiewa, Jarvis Creek, Barnawartha, Rutherglen, Chiltern and elsewhere took part in the day, organised by Goodlife Community Co-operative.

The celebrity gardener encouraged listeners to harness local skills, knowledge and resources. Ideas were sought about future gardening projects.
“So there’s a bed of information from which the first blitz can be planned, then once the first blitz happens, it can start to flow,” he said.
