Olives to Oil Project with 3000acres and Barfold Olives

3000acres are teaming up with the lovely people at Barfold Olives and the community for an olive harvesting and pressing extravaganza! There are so many olive trees in streets and backyards around Melbourne that just aren’t getting the love they deserve- we want to change that.
If you have a tree that is producing more olives than you can possibly bear to brine, sign up to be a part of the Olives to Oil Project. We’ll be collecting up as many olives as possible to be pressed by Barfold Olives into beautiful, locally-produced olive oil. Alternatively, find a street tree near you (RipeNear.Me) and bring those lovely olives along to the party!
Once we know how much oil has produced from the weekend, we’ll be in touch with all participants with collection details, but please note there may be a charge to help us cover costs.
