Most Australians have never set foot on a farm, or even talked to the people who grow and raise the food we eat. Recent research has found that 88% of residents across our region have never bought food directly from a farmer!
Join us. In the heart of our foodbowl. With local farmers.
To hear about the incredible work, vision and challenges of the new farming generation, and how we can all get involved.
A light locally sourced supper will be provided.
Additional Event Details
Compostable plates and cups will be provided, but if you have the time please bring along your own to save on waste 🙂
A screening of the groundbreaking US documentary ‘Farmland’ (45 minutes) will be followed by a farmer panel discussion and audience Q and A, featuring our next generation of innovative and passionate local farmers.
