Open Farm Day 2019
Explore farming on the fringe at Open Farm Day on Sunday 7th April from 10am to 4pm.
This is a fantastic opportunity to discover and visit 16 working farms, and producers, and meet local farmers. Farms will open their gates to showcase their fruit and veggies, livestock and animals, orchards and vineyards, flowers and food.
You are welcome to follow the trail, or just visit the farms that are of interest to you. Meet the farmers to learn more about farming on the urban fringe as well as opportunities to sample some fresh produce and participate in activities at selected farms, including farm tours, demonstrations and more!
The Trail Map and Passport is your guide to discovering the farms and local producers for Open Farm Day. Visitors will be able to present their Open Farm Day Passport at each farm to collect a sticker. Collecting three or more stickers and completing the visitor survey allows entry to the prize draw, featuring some amazing prizes! The Trail Map and Passport is available to download at https://www.nillumbik.vic.gov.au/People-and-family/About-Open-Farm-Day or you can collect a copy at each of the participating farms and businesses on the day.
