Permablitz Gardening Ottawa hosts free events, open to the public, with shared food, where you get some exercise and have a wonderful time. Our purpose is to bring together the community to build systems to ensure food security in Ottawa so that children, low income families, and seniors have access to nutrient rich, chemical free, locally grown food.

Earthshed Solutions teach and empower people through our programs and projects to design regenerative systems for food production, soil fertility, energy efficiency and water conservation. And now, they do permablitzes too!
Transition Houston
Transition Houston is a group of citizens who are organizing to build stronger communities, re-localize our economic activity, and reduce our energy usage. While we recognize the enormous challenges posed by the twin threats of peak oil and climate change, we also believe that a more sustainable way of life can be secure, empowering and fun.

Permablitz Austin, USA
Austin, Texas, US has a very strong and established Permablitz community. They do a blitz nearly every month and have to date done nearly 50 blitzes! Their efforts have even spun off a few regional blitz networks that range from San Antonio through Denton (Near Fort Worth, Texas).
Portland Maine Permablitz Network
This project is underway! We are working on energizing the permaculture network in Greater Portland (and encouraging permablitzes in other parts of Maine), creating a regional manual and an organizer training module. Contact Heather Foran for more details about this year’s program.
Resilient Roots, Massachusetts
Resilient Roots is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and promote awareness about permaculture landscapes that are primarily edible and guided by ecological principles. We empower people, through our educational and outreach events, to grow their own food in a manner that is sustainable and uses local resources. We provide a structure to connect, support, and collaborate with individuals and organizations interested in learning and practicing the art of permaculture landscape design.

The Caribbean Permaculture Research Institute of Barbados
CPRI Barbados is a certified Permaculture centre, approved and designed to be a hub for Permaculture demonstration and education. Its staff are PRI Certified as Designers and Teachers. Students of CPRI Barbados are certified as PRI graduates for the quality of education they receive.
