Apollo Bay Edible Garden Trail
Date(s) - November 24, 2018 - November 25, 2018
Time - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
This is a third-party event not organised by Permablitz. We've added it because we reckon it looks pretty good!
Location - Apollo Bay Community Garden
Whether you’re a keen gardener with decades of experience or have never picked up a shovel, the inaugural Apollo Bay Edible Garden Trail is set to inspire with a two-day program of workshops, tours and open gardens.
The Apollo Bay area boasts a treasure trove of beautiful and productive organic gardens, and for the first time a number of local growers will be opening their front gates to the public. Visitors can discover new techniques, varieties and design ideas and get excited about growing pesticide-free fruit, veggies and herbs.
On the same weekend ticket-holders can also attend an exciting array of gardening workshops covering a whole raft of topics and skills. Join us for an edible weeds walk, or a workshop on growing great spuds or using seaweeds in the garden.
