Have you ever thought of growing okra, for your home or commercial purposes?
Farmer Ajak from Okra Connections will take you through the steps from sowing, propagation, irrigation, and other management practices.

His wife Rachael will do a cooking demo with you too. Showcasing the versatility if this amazing vegetable.

Ajak is a skilled agronomist from Upper Nile University in South Sudan. He is currently trialling okra here at Joe’s Market Garden with an aim to produce okra on a large scale next year.

Okra is high in fibre.
It is known to be a medicinal vegetable used to prevent diabetes and other diseases.

Workshop is $15 per person.
