Permablitz #218 – Belgrave
Date(s) - October 20, 2019
Time - 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
This event is totally booked out - but keep an eye out for more blitzes being announced soon!
Jessica and her young son Mali have recently moved back to Belgrave after a couple of years living on an eight acre permaculture farm. They’re really hoping to recreate it on a smaller scale (3/4 acre) with a beautiful sloping northerly aspect that Mali can enjoy for many years to come.
Thanks to designers Rachel and Natalie, we’re looking forward to bringing that dream a few steps closer!
Tasks for the day:
- Building retaining walls for vegie beds on a slope
- Improving soil
- Constructing a poly tunnel to increase growing seasons
- Drip irrigation
- Moving and retaining water
- Removing small trees to create a microclimate against the house
Workshops include:
- Building simple retaining walls
- Drip irrigation
- Constructing and preparing a poly tunnel
It will be a beautiful space to blitz in, and kids are totally welcome to join in the fun.
To book your place, just fill in the form below!
