Location - West Brunswick Food Forest, Dunstan Reserve

You are invited to join other community volunteers for a permablitz at the Dunstan Reserve Food Forest in West Brunswick, on Sunday 30 March from 10am – 3pm.

The Food Forest was designed along permaculture lines in the 1990s and they are aiming to gather a big crew of people to re-vitalise it, with weeding, mulching, and planting.

The ‘blitz’ will be led by members of the West Brunswick Community Garden’, while gardening experts Karen Sutherland and Adam Grubb , will be there and conduct short workshops for you on topics like permaculture, weed management and food forest plants.

This is a free event, and lunch will be provided! Please bring along a hat, suitable footwear, gardening gloves and hand tools, plus curiosity and community spirit.
