Free growing medium / wicking bed ballast

Bill has half a trailer full of red scoria that is leftover from some bathtub wicking bed construction, and he’s wondering if anyone would want it? It’s already in the trailer so he can deliver it anywhere in Reservoir / Preston region!

All this could be yours!

Ange from Pascoe Vale was the lucky lady – Bill is dropping the scoria off to her so she can use it to convert a fruit bin into a wicking bed! Here’s some instructions on doing this yourself here and here! There’s also a pretty cool video below (but we’d recommend adding a layer of old carpet between the builder’s plastic and timber!)
