Help needed for garden relocation
Ania is a Permablitz Designers Guild member and designer of a handful of recent blitzes, and she needs your help.
Ania has an extensive collective of potted plants, trees, herbs and shrubs, and her garden was recently reviewed in the Permaculture Journal blog.
This means 2-3m tall apple, cherry, plum and other assorted fruit trees, some in 180 litre pots, as well as smaller containers of raspberry and strawberry and flowering natives, will need to be transported from Surrey Hills to Mooroolbark. Ania’s good friend Claire has a truck available on Wednesday 9th and Friday 11th March, but this is a job too big for the two ladies to tackle alone.
The size and weight of the potted plants means that we will also need a couple of strong people with trolleys to shift them on to the truck and then off again at the other end.
The only offer I can currently make is that of payment in a plant or two, or a meal at Sofia’s, much as fast food goes against the grain, Sophia’s actually give a lot of money to the Royal Children’s Hospital Appeal. Anything I cook will probably feed the worms, since I make a very bad chef.
