On a sunny Autumn day, a hardy group of blitzers joined The Desert Echo and the Farnham St Neighbourhood House team give the local community garden a facelift – and it’s looking great!
On a sunny Spring day, volunteers, caterers and family members pitched in to transform Jim’s family’ gardens into a more productive space – with a pond, wicking and raised garden beds, espaliers and more!
It was a day that featured rain, hail, showers and sunshine – as well as lots of smiles, laughter and enjoyment from the 35 or so blitzers that joined us to transform this Upwey garden.
On a cold and rainy day, a dedicated team of blitzers set about converting a narrow but roomy inner-north backyard into a perma-productive garden.
Permablitz has long supported kinders and preschools, and on a lovely Saturday volunteers and parents alike completed the transformation of Dame Nellie Melba kinder into a sustainability wonderland.
The weather gods gifted us with a beautifully sunny winter day that allowed the troops to get into action bright eyed and full of smiles, concluding with my favourite thing of all, PLANTING! And a group photo of course!
